While on loan from the Milwaukee MEPS to this squadron as a support chaplain, new opportunities developed.
The commander submitted paperwork to Scott Air Force Base, IL to obtain an MSA (Military Support Authorization)
to officially serve as the CAP support Chaplain to his squadron. It was successfully approved and now allows me
to do further ministry that I would not have had without this MSA. This has been a very productive and exciting
ministry.
I have worked with the under President Arroyo’s Moral Recovery Program with Pastor and ombudsman Marlon Andal
since 2003. Bro. Andal is now one of our AFBM missionaries working with the Philippine military. I was there
in March/April 2007 to help get this ministry established officially. Bro Andal is doing a great job as well
with the National Police and government workers.
I have worked with South Korean forces and American military in South Korea preaching at various Korean bases and
American installations. We hope to continue this ministry and watch it grow supporting fundamental American
chaplains and preaching to South Korean troops.
I have made four trips into Moscow to work with the freedom of religion movement there since 1995. I was
commissioned to do a long term project as part of a joint initiative between the Moscow Military District
and the International independent University of Ecology and Politology in Moscow. I am nearing completion
of this work and hope to return to Moscow soon to have this work translated. Funds for this trip are our
main concern right now.
